Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil is seeking a senior Quality Leader to ensure supplier quality meets internal and regulatory standards and to drive continuous improvement across the supplier base. You will lead a team of quality professionals, define strategic action plans, and deploy quality initiatives.

The role requires extensive experience in quality management within aerospace, with proficiency in PFMEA/DFMEA and PPAP processes, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• University degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
• 5 to 10 years of management experience.
• Experience with PFMEA and DFMEA is an asset.
• Knowledge of PPAP elements is an asset.
• Experience conducting process walks and product audits.
• In-depth knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
• Red-X - Green Belt 6 sigma.
• Aerospace experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manages supplier quality improvement and development plans.
• Leads a team of quality and supplier development professionals.
• Guides implementation of quality initiatives.
• Manages supplier quality issues via escape management, non-conforming material, and MRB support.
• Supports supplier qualification and certification activities.
• Supports source inspection and material release processes.
• Ensures deployment of corrective actions and problem-solving methodologies.
• Develops supplier-specific quality initiative strategies.
