Job summary

The Inventory & Logistics Manager at Redwire Defense Tech in Ottawa oversees the end-to-end logistics operations, optimizing flow, storage, and tracking of materials to support production and operations while ensuring CGP and export regulation compliance.

You will lead a team, apply Lean/Six Sigma methods, coordinate with Engineering and Flight Operations, and manage ERP/MRP systems (Odoo, Jamis) to maintain accurate inventory and efficient, compliant shipping worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of inventory, materials, logistics, or supply chain management experience.
• Experience with export control regulations including CGP and NEXCOL.
• Lean/Six Sigma background and practical process improvement experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering, Flight Operations, and other departments to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Oversee cycle counts, inventory transactions, kitting operations, and reporting.
• Coordinate sourcing, purchasing, receiving, and material planning activities.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels, warehousing, and material flow for accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Oversee domestic and international shipping, receiving, and logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with CGP, export regulations, and company policies.
• Review and process shipping documentation to confirm regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate inventory, logistics, and regulatory documentation.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage inventory, traceability, and reporting.
• Ensure all operations follow security, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, train, and develop inventory and logistics personnel.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
