Job summary

IMP Aerospace & Defence is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to support CP140 Aurora Electrical Systems. You will provide technical information, analysis, and lifecycle-cost optimization across IMP and CP140 units in Greenwood and Comox, coordinating with WSM staff in Ottawa and IMP personnel.

You will monitor inquiries, manage SRQs and HPRs, oversee parts holdings, and collaborate with engineering and materiel teams to drive cost reductions and reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or formal training with significant aircraft maintenance experience.
• 5-10 years aerospace technical experience with broad aircraft systems exposure.
• Strong knowledge of CP140 equipment and systems.
• Experience with CF Supply System or equivalents is a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and monitor inquiries from CP140 units and IMP personnel.
• Monitor information exchange site for SRQ requests and ensure timely responses.
• Monitor HPR listings and advise factors influencing requests; identify reductions in repeats.
• Monitor parts holdings for consumables and repairables; suggest adjustments.
• Collaborate with Materiel and LSA to track consumption, MTBF, and obsolescence; propose investigations and sourcing.
