StandardAero in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking an Aerospace Engine Mechanic Trainee for a comprehensive 14-week paid training program focused on turbine engine maintenance and repair. Upon successful completion, trainees are assigned to an engine program in Winnipeg.

You will learn to read manuals and blueprints, perform inspections, and follow safety practices through classroom, lab, and hands-on engine training with a focus on teamwork and precision.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of job-related training or experience preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting applicable technical data, Blueprints and drawing is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in a structured 14-week paid turbine engine mechanic training program.
• Learn repair and overhaul processes for gas turbine engines.
• Inspect engine modules and components per technical standards.
• Follow aviation safety practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
• Complete instructor-led classroom, lab, and on-engine training.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Use hand tools and specialized equipment to support maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members and instructors throughout training.
• Transition into an assigned engine program upon completion.
