Job summary

StandardAero in Winnipeg is seeking experienced Mechanics II/III to repair and overhaul gas turbine engines. You will support inspection, disassembly, and documentation to ensure safety and compliance with aviation standards. Relocation assistance is available and all shifts are supported.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance, ability to read blueprints, and strong documentation skills. The role offers growth and a positive team environment in a modern facility.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance/engine repair.
  • Experience with dismantle, inspection, engine builds.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
  • Ability to stand and work for extended periods (6–8 hours per shift).
  • 4+ years of experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision in a production environment.

As a Mechanic II or Mechanic III, you’ll repair and overhaul gas turbine engines while supporting inspection, disassembly, and documentation processes to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with aviation standards.
