Job summary

Jobtailor in Canada is seeking a Workday techno-functional specialist to gather requirements, design, configure, and support scalable Workday solutions across multiple modules.

You will analyze business needs, perform gap and risk assessments, recommend improvements to processes and system performance, troubleshoot configuration and integration issues, and develop/testing strategies to validate requirements while supporting project deliveries and releases.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• 4+ years of techno-functional experience, preferably in HR systems.
• Working knowledge of Workday, including integrations and business impact analysis.
• Understanding of HR processes and systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with process improvement, mapping, and re-engineering techniques.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in collaborative, distributed teams using Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
• ITIL certification (v3 or higher) preferred.
• Experience with HR case management tools such as Neocase preferred.
• CAPM/PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with automation and AI technologies such as RPA, GenAI, and chatbots preferred.
• Agile certification such as Scrum Master preferred.
• Advanced Workday configuration and integration experience preferred.
• Final candidates may be required to undergo security screening, including a criminal records check.
