Definity is seeking a Business Development Advisor to manage a portfolio of strategic brokers across the KW, Burlington, Hamilton, and Niagara regions. The role focuses on broker engagement, contract management, and driving profitable GWP growth in Personal, Commercial, and Farm lines.
You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize broker performance, train brokers, and negotiate terms, incentives, and overrides while ensuring service excellence and long-term partnerships.
The Business Development Advisor (BDA) reporting into the regional Business Development Director (BDD) is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of strategic brokers focused on commercial Insurance (CI) and Farm lines of business within a defined region. The BDA acts as a key business advisor, ensuring contractual compliance, driving broker engagement, and fostering long-term, profitable partnerships. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including contract management, performance monitoring, business development, training, and communication, with a focus on optimizing broker performance and achieving top and bottom-line targets.
Salary Range: $73,500 - $123,500
High degree of proficiency with English required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.
