Job summary

Dana is seeking a skilled Motor Design Engineer in Canada to develop and deliver motor design solutions that meet customer requirements. You will own DVP&R definitions and lead DFMEA activities to validate product performance, while guiding root-cause analysis and design reviews across projects.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrification product development, FEA/NVH analysis, and strong communication across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3 years of progressive experience in automotive or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of progressive experience in design / development of electrification products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver motor design solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Own DVP&R definition and execution to validate product performance.
• Lead DFMEA activities and design reviews.
• Perform analysis including FEA, NVH, and tolerance stack-ups.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities.
• Lead root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Support cost optimisation and manufacturing readiness.
• Present technical content to internal and customer stakeholders.
