Qualifications

• Registration in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
• Current CPR certification and a clean driver abstract.
• Ability to perform full operational duties upon start.

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency scenes and patients, and transport them if needed.
• Administer medications and provide advanced life support.
• Lead the ALS crew during patient transport and ensure vehicle readiness.

Skills

Non-restricted registration with ACOP as ACP

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification

Valid class 4 Alberta Operator License or equivalent

Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) completion

Experience in metro, suburban, rural EMS environments

Education

Completion of additional post-secondary programs
