Qualifications

• PEI Paramedic license is required.
• Current CPR card.
• ACLS certification and CEVO certificate preferred or required as specified.
• Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check in the last 90 days as applicable.
• Hepatitis B vaccination status maintained.
• Maintains ACP status through continuing medical education (CME).
• Diploma/degree or higher education completed.

Responsibilities

• Decisions, leadership, and ambulance safety during each shift within Advanced Care practice.
• Collaborate with PCPs and ICPS on emergency medical situations and provide reliable insight.
• Operate in a professional, discreet manner with patients, families, and hospital staff.
• Adhere to safety, privacy, and conduct standards as part of Medavie Health Services.
