• Confirmation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Ongoing ACP status maintained through continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical treatment and safe transportation for patients in emergency situations.
• Operate within the scope of Advanced Care practice, applying specified educational training.
• Make critical decision‑making and exercise leadership throughout each shift to ensure safety and quality of care.
• Collaborate closely with Primary Care Paramedics (PCPs) and Integrated Care Paramedics (ICPs) during daily operations.
• Maintain professionalism, clear communication, and integrity when interacting with patients, families, hospital staff, management, public agencies, and legal courts.
• Adhere to all safety‑related initiatives and foster a culture of patient safety and a respectful workplace.

Qualifications

• Current PEI Paramedic License.

• Class 4 Driver's Licence (fully graduated/unrestricted) with a driver's abstract issued within the last 90 days.
