Qualifications

  • 2 years of full-time experience providing pre-hospital care as a Primary Care Paramedic.
  • Experience working with diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of Shared Health clinical protocols and Manitoba regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered care as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
  • Ensure safe operation of vehicles and equipment per Manitoba regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and community agencies.

Skills

Knowledge of College of Paramedics of Manitoba Standards of Practice
Ability to communicate in multiple languages
Demonstrates principles of the LEADS framework

Education

Graduate of a Primary Care Paramedic program from an accredited institution

Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
