Job summary

Medavie Health Services is seeking an Advanced Care Paramedic to deliver high-quality pre-hospital care across PEI. You will assess, stabilize, and transport patients, working closely with PCPs and EMS teams to ensure safe, efficient patient flow in a demanding environment.

The role requires a PEI Paramedic License, ACLS and CPR certifications, a Class 4 driver’s license, and up-to-date medical clearances; a strong emphasis on safety and patient advocacy is essential.

Qualifications

• Active PEI paramedic licensure required.
• Current ACLS and CPR certifications required.
• Class 4 driver’s license with clean abstract; vulnerable sector check completed.
• Vaccination as specified (Hepatitis B) and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide Advanced Care Paramedic services during shifts.
• Lead patient assessment, stabilization, and transport to facilities.
• Collaborate with PCPs, ICPS, and EMS teams during emergencies.
• Maintain safety, professional conduct, and documentation.
