Job summary

Crown Autobody & Glass in Winnipeg seeks an Advanced Repair Planner/Estimator to accurately estimate and blueprint vehicle repairs. The role interfaces with MPI and the collision centre operations to create an exceptional customer experience.

The candidate will dismantle and assess damage, document findings, and collaborate with teams to process approximately five vehicles per day, adhering to MPI and OEM guidelines. Strong organizational skills and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of autobody estimation experience.
• ICAR Certification in Estimating preferred or plan to be certified.
• Hands-on experience with Mitchell Connect or similar software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license; able to drive manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and reassemble vehicles for accurate estimating.
• Perform in-depth teardown to assess damage.
• Document all damages with paint pen, photos and descriptions.
• Accurately estimate vehicle damage per MPI policies.
• Capture labor and parts using OEM and MPI procedures.
• Collaborate with production, parts, CSR, MPI; provide updates.
• Estimate an average of five vehicles per day for internal and retail.
• Ensure compliance with policies for cost, quality, safety, delivery.
