  • Holds a college diploma in Financial Services, Administration, or equivalent.
  • Has at least one year of experience in a similar or related role.
  • Is recognized for their attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Shows a high level of adaptability and learning agility.
  • Is known for delivering outstanding customer service and strong communication skills.
  • Has a beginner level of English proficiency; role involves responding to emails and communicating daily with English-speaking clients and colleagues.
  • Has good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, as well as group savings products (considered an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Processing client transactions from account opening to closure while ensuring compliance with plan rules.
  • Communicating effectively with clients and internal business partners, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintaining a high level of productivity, accuracy, and organization.
  • Meeting financial deadlines and compliance requirements.
  • Reviewing and validating non-financial transactions completed by colleagues.
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring proper follow-up.
  • Analyzing straightforward requests and escalating them to specialists when required.
  • Preparing reports and tax slips.
  • Processing accounting entries.
  • Receiving, organizing, and managing incoming paper mail, including cheques.
