Job information

Responsibilities:
  • Review completed leases and accurately input tenant information into Yardi.
  • Collect and apply tenant payments in Yardi on a timely basis.
  • Maintain the rent roll tracker to ensure data accuracy.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable ledgers and collaborate with the Property Manager.
  • Prepare Notices of Default as needed.
  • Assist with month-end accounting activities, including posting rent rolls and journal entries.
  • Coordinate with the Property Management team on budgets.
  • Prepare annual tenant pre-billings, budgets, and CAM reconciliations.
  • Assist with tenant billing activities and process chargebacks.
  • Prepare Rental Advice Notices (RANs) and distribute welcome packages.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries.
  • Collaborate with site staff and leasing teams.
  • Maintain records of tenant insurance certificates.
  • Assist with Estoppels and SNDAs.
  • Update leasing brochures and online listings.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of property accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate and leases.
  • Proficiency in property management software; Yardi experience preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (IF, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, pivot tables).
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
