Your Opportunity: The AHS Pharmacy Program for the North is seeking an organized and adaptable Administrative Support IV to support the Pharmacy Managers and sites for 35 AHS pharmacy departments north of Edmonton. This position will ideally work out of the Northern Lights Healthcare Centre or one of the AHS rural north facilities this position serves, however a hybrid work environment may be considered. Responsibilities including staff scheduling, timekeeping and payroll support, recruitment and onboarding coordination, records management, routine financial transactions, meetings, reporting, and other administrative activities. Working with a high degree of independence, the successful candidate will manage competing priorities, respond to changing operational needs, resolve administrative issues within the scope of the role, and handle confidential employee and payroll information with discretion. The role works closely with pharmacy leaders and staff and liaises with other AHS services as required. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable learning new systems, and able to communicate professionally while maintaining accuracy in a busy environment. The role offers varied work and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to pharmacy operations at GPRH. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Fort McMurray Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $12,480. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
