Job summary

Job description

The Administrative Coordinator at Dextran Products provides administrative support for plant operations, environmental, health and safety, and purchasing activities. This role includes front office duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, responding to emails, and supporting communication across departments.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing front office activities, including answering phones and directing visitors.
  • Handling correspondence and emails.
  • Scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars.
  • Supporting production schedules and communication of action items.
  • Assisting with environmental, health, safety, and maintenance reports and activities.
  • Managing office supplies and assisting with purchasing and logistics.
  • Data entry, report generation, and recordkeeping across various departments.
Qualifications:
  • High School Degree required; two or more years of post-high school education preferred.
  • Two to four years of office administration experience; experience in industrial manufacturing or distribution preferred.
  • Skills include organizational ability, attention to detail, decision-making, adaptability, and fluent English communication.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook Calendar.
