About Us:
Sisters in Canada Wellness Society is a community-driven organization committed to promoting wellness, empowerment, and support for immigrant women. We are passionate about creating meaningful programs and fostering connections that make a difference in the lives of those we serve. We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative processes while supporting our goals for community wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee daily office functions, including scheduling, correspondence, and file management.
  2. Prepare and organize documents, reports, and materials for meetings and events.
  3. Respond to inquiries through phone and email, and liaise with team members, volunteers, and partners.
  4. Plan, coordinate, and maintain calendars and timelines for events and organizational activities.
  5. Maintain accurate records, track progress, and manage office supplies and resources.
  6. Record financial transactions, process invoices, receipts, and reimbursements, and assist with budget tracking.
  7. Provide administrative support to leadership and contribute to process enhancements.
  8. Monitor and report financial discrepancies, provide monthly financial summaries, and maintain proper documentation for financial audits.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in administrative coordination or a related role.
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  5. Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solver.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  7. Passion for community engagement and wellness is an asset.
Position Details:
  1. Compensation will be based on experience, with an hourly rate ranging from $20 to $25 per hour.
  2. Part-time position with flexible hours.
  3. Remote work with occasional in-person meetings or event attendance.
