Job summary

The Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) is seeking an Administrative Assistant for Special Education & Student Services. You will provide general administrative support for a multidisciplinary team, maintain records, assist with events, and help prepare materials for reports.

Required qualifications include a secondary school diploma, one year of community college, and two years of related experience, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Under the direction of the Principal, Special Education & Student Services , the Administrative Assistant will:
  • performs general administrative support services for a multi-disciplinary team;
  • maintains accounting records, office records and statistical data;
  • assists in event planning;
  • assists in the compilation and organization of materials and information for reports;
  • performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Secondary School Diploma;
  • One year of Community College;
  • two years of related experience;
  • excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills;
  • initiative, tact, confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy;
  • superior organizational skills;
  • strong computer skills and an advanced level of proficiency using Google Suites.

This is a permanent, full-time, twelve (12) month position with an annual salary range of $52,497 – $56,372. A comprehensive employee benefits package is also provided.

The effective date is approximately September 14, 2026.
