About our Client

Recruiting in Motion Vancouver is an authorized staffing partner and service provider to the Metro Vancouver Regional District. The district provides services to 21 Municipalities, one Electoral Area, and one treaty First Nation.

We supply temporary staff for various assignments ranging from one day to 6 months, including roles such as Office Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, Senior Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, and occasional Accounting roles. Pay rates vary from $22.48 to $35.05 per hour.

We are seeking intermediate to senior-level candidates to join our roster of available temp staff. Successful candidates will be contacted as needed; however, there is no guarantee of work, as staffing needs fluctuate.

Responsibilities

Perform complex clerical and secretarial duties, including composing technical and administrative communications, agendas, minutes, managing calendars, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Typing speed of at least 55 wpm with high accuracy
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with calendar management and scheduling
  • Strong attention to detail, capable of handling complex, technical clerical work including formatting and proofreading
  • Knowledge of office procedures and filing systems (electronic and paper)
  • Organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines and interruptions
  • Ability to work independently, using judgment and prioritization
  • Commitment to high-quality customer service
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Willingness to work in Burnaby, Surrey, or Langley
  • University Degree or equivalent experience
