Intertek (BML) is a commercial laboratory specializing in the recovery of base and precious metals from raw mineralization. We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team.

General Responsibilities

Working under the supervision of the Executive Assistant, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for a wide range of administrative and clerical tasks that support the business's functioning. The role involves organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct phone calls politely and professionally.
  • Greet clients and visitors warmly and ensure their comfort.
  • Schedule appointments and update the calendar accordingly.
  • Prepare various communications, including memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence.
  • Create and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Monitor supplies inventory, anticipate needs, and place orders as necessary.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees.
  • Process financial transactions.
  • Perform data entry tasks.
  • Compile reports as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Sage Accounting software.
Salary & Benefits

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Benefits include vacation, paid sick days, medical benefits, and more.
