Job summary

Canada Life in Winnipeg is seeking an Administrative Assistant – Intake Administrator on a permanent full-time basis to support the Central Intake Team within our Disability Management Services Offices. You will accurately enter data from claims forms into the disability system, determine coverage type, and set up short- and long-term disability claims while routing forms to the correct team.

The role requires strong data entry, MS Office proficiency, independent work, and the ability to thrive

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant – Intake Administrator

The Administrative Support Assistant is within our Central Intake Team in Winnipeg and will be responsible for setting up claims from our Disability Management Services Offices (DMSO)

What You Will Do
  • Accurately and efficiently enter data from claims forms into Canada Life disability system
  • Determine claimants coverage type and set up short term and long term disability claims
  • Setting up claimants using mainframe
  • Ensure disability forms are routed to the correct team or staff member
  • Working with Intake Coordinators and DMSO staff to ensure client specific needs are met
  • Assist with other support functions as required

Due to the high profile of a number of our clients, a Federal Government Enhanced Screening is a job requirement, and this will involve fingerprinting and a credit check

The base salary for this position is between $38,700 - $52,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
