The Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support our executives at Netflix in Toronto.

A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities. They will need to have a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, and able to exercise good judgment and communication.

Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  1. Manage high-volume calendars for 2-3 Content executives and schedule meetings across multiple time zones.
  2. Manage project calendars and key dates, including scheduling and coordinating internal show meetings and other cross-functional meetings.
  3. Maintain and track projects and their statuses throughout development and production using internal tools and databases.
  4. Handle administrative duties such as coordinating travel arrangements (domestic and international), data entry, and expense reports.
  5. Liaise with production partners to ensure they are trained on internal tools and workflows.
  6. Support team leaders and coordinators with ad hoc projects.
  7. Display professionalism in communication with internal and external partners.
Qualifications
  1. 4+ years of experience as an executive/administrative assistant, preferably in Media / Film & Television industries.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
  3. Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information.
  4. Team-player who operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  5. Ability to work independently, exercising initiative and assessing priorities while referring issues upward when appropriate.
  6. Proficiency in Slack, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Drive.
