Sinai Health is seeking an Administrative Assistant aligned with this purpose to support our Office of Academic and Medical Affairs. Reporting to the Executive Vice President (EVP), the Administrative Assistant provides complete and confidential senior administrative support to the EVP, Vice President, Medical Affairs (VP), and Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO). The Assistant is the first point of contact for the Office, interacting regularly with physicians, employees, and external contacts. The role requires discretion, tact, and diplomacy, especially in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
The Office of Academic and Medical Affairs oversees credentialed staff (Physicians, Dentists, Midwives) at Sinai Health, guided by Ontario Public Hospitals Act regulations. Led by the EVP, the team manages professional staff by-law adherence, credentialing, and meetings of the Medical Advisory Committee, reporting to the Board of Directors. The Office also handles staff communications, wellness, professionalism, and quality and safety oversight.
