  • Supporting client safety and wellbeing during home- and community-based activities.
  • Providing behavioural support, redirection, and assistance with emotional or behavioural regulation.
  • Supporting clients who may experience elopement or other safety-related concerns.
  • Engaging clients in meaningful and functional activities that encourage independence, skill development, and community participation.
  • Supporting routines, organization, meal preparation, transportation, emotional wellbeing, and other day-to-day needs.
  • Following individualized strategies and approaches established by the client's care team, family, or regulated healthcare professionals where applicable.

Every client and position is unique. You would be a great fit with Spark if you are compassionate, dependable, organized, confident working independently, and comfortable adapting your approach to the needs of the individual you are supporting. Above all, we are looking for people who genuinely care about the wellbeing, dignity, safety, and goals of the people they support.
