Job summary

Autism Services in Saskatoon is seeking an Addictions Counsellor (Diploma) for a temporary full-time role at Calder Centre. You will deliver recovery services to individuals with substance-use challenges, perform screening and ongoing assessments, and provide individual and group counseling within a multidisciplinary team.

Preference may be given to HSAS members per collective agreement; the position starts August 11, 2026, and runs through March 30, 2028, with shifts days/evenings/weekends and

Qualifications

• Chemical Dependency diploma required.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience with counseling and case management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery services to persons affected by substance use and family members.

Job Description: As a successful applicant, you will be responsible to provide recovery services to persons affected by substance abuse and family members. This will include screening and on-going assessment activities, individual and group counseling, case and file management and community resource involvement. You will be working within a team environment. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
