Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority in Estevan seeks an Addictions Counsellor with a Chemical Dependency diploma to support recovery programs at St Josephs Hospital. This full-time temporary role requires assessment, client engagement and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

Preference may be given to HSAS members per collective agreement terms. Valid driver's license is required for travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Chemical Dependency diploma required.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Experience in addictions screening and assessment tools desirable.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Job Description

Restores, maintains and enhances the recovery of clients seeking help for addiction and/or addiction related impacts by implementing various modalities of addiction recovery programs. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
