Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) invites applications for a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Acute Medicine Unit at Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, BC. The role follows client- and family-centred care and aligns with BCCNM standards.

Responsibilities include independent and collaborative nursing within a designated area, with supervision for more complex care, ongoing competence, and documentation of patient care. Applicants must be licensed LPN in BC.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized practical nursing program.
• Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Responsabilités

• Provide full scope of practical nursing care for clients with predictable outcomes in a designated area.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document client care, and support clients and families.
• Work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary care team, under general supervision assist RNs with higher-acuity cases.
• Maintain and advance clinical competence pursuant to BCCNM standards for Licenced Practical Nurses.
