Job summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Discharge Lounge team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. You will practice within a client- and family-centred care model and follow BCCNM standards.

In this role you will work both independently and with an interdisciplinary team, performing full-scope LPN functions, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of care, while supporting patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized practical nursing program.
• Current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Responsibilities

• Perform full-scope practical nursing functions for clients with predictable outcomes in a designated area.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document client care and support families.
• Work independently and with an interdisciplinary care team under general supervision.
