Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Bulkley District Hospital team in Smithers. The RN will provide direct patient care in an acute medical unit, collaborating with an interprofessional team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in a patient- and family-centered environment.

The role requires graduation from an approved Nursing program and current BCCNM RN registration, with the ability to work rotating days and nights as part of a supportive NH team

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as an RN registrant.
• Experience in acute medical units is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute medical unit.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Collaborate with interprofessional care team to optimize patient outcomes.
