Job summary

Caressant Care is seeking a part‑time Recreation/Lifestyles role in Ontario. The successful candidate will bring a post‑secondary credential in a related field, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of LTC. Organizational abilities and reliability are essential.

The starting pay is $22.96 per hour, with benefits under the Collective Agreement. Caressant Care values learning, growth, and a supportive team environment across its Ontario homes.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, gerontology, or related field from an Ontario institution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Knowledge and skills in the Long-Term Care (LTC) sector.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

What you bring
  • Hold a post-secondary diploma, degree or certificate in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, gerontology, or other related field from an Ontario post-secondary institution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Knowledge and skills in the Long-Term Care sector LTC
  • Organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under direction
  • Knowledge and skill in a variety of recreational activities
  • Punctual and reliable

The starting rate of pay is $22.96 per hour , and the terms and conditions of employment are as per the Collective Agreement.
