Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences seeks an Activity Aide to create meaningful experiences that enhance residents’ well-being. You’ll plan programs, encourage participation, and document engagement in a warm, inclusive environment.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in Word and Excel, and a passion for senior care. Flexible hours and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience; working with seniors is a strong asset.
• Post-secondary education in recreation, gerontology, social work, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized; detail-oriented; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Physical ability to assist with standing, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
