At Sunrise, our Life Enrichment Manager is responsible for engaging residents in daily routines through personalized Life Skills that "Create Pleasant Days." These skills are familiar tasks that residents enjoyed in the past, helping them find success, meaning, and purpose today. The manager designs Life Skills based on each resident's interests and provides encouragement, prompts, and assistance.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Part-time
• Thursday to Saturday, 11am to 7pm
• Responsibilities :
• Evaluate residents' interest and involvement in Life Skills
• Develop tailored Life Skills for each resident
• Engage residents in Life Skills throughout the day and evening
• Maintain inventory of programming supplies
• Assist with daily care of animals or plants as part of the program
• Qualifications :
• At least 1 year experience working with memory-impaired seniors
• Current first aid and food safety certifications
• Ability to motivate and adapt activities to residents' cognitive and functional levels
• Ability to motivate volunteers and team members
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently following community guidelines
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
