Job summary

Concord Parking is seeking Parking Bylaw Enforcement Officers in Edmonton to enforce City of Edmonton bylaws, patrol on foot, and handle public interactions with professionalism.

New hires start in Beat Patrol with progression to City Patrol and beyond. The role requires physical activity, clean background checks, and full-time evening/weekend availability, with wage starting at $21.00/hour and increasing after swearing-in.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (minimum 2 years driving experience).
• Meet at least one of: 2 years post-secondary education; 1 year enforcement/security; 3 years supervisory/management with conflict resolution; 5 years customer service with conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Enforce City of Edmonton Bylaw 5590 for non-moving violations.
• Patrol assigned areas (primarily on foot) in all weather conditions.
• Issue tickets and warnings for parking violations.
• Educate the public on parking rules and dispute processes.
• Complete detailed reports (Daily Tag Reports, Incident Reports, etc.).
• Communicate with Supervisors, Dispatch, and Team Leads.
• Attend court as required.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards.
• Secure all equipment and documentation.
