Job summary

Kepler Academy in Edmonton is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate for an in-person role at our West Edmonton Head Office. You will ensure accuracy and efficiency of operations, process and monitor incoming payments, and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts from families and government programs.

The position reports to the Controller and requires handling invoices, payments, reconciliations, and government childcare claims with attention to detail while maintaining excellent

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant Administrative and Accounting experience in an office setting.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer invoices and payments into the accounting systems.
• Process customer payments, refunds, and adjustments including declined payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and identify discrepancies.
• Manage payment processes for customer accounts.
• Maintain accurate customer files, including invoices and payment records.
• Provide weekly Operator reports to Centre Directors.
• Submit monthly government childcare claims.
• Research and resolve customer inquiries.
• Follow up with Centre Directors on overdue payments.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Support administration and training of Parent App.
• Assist with corporate office administration.
• Other duties as assigned.
