Join the Accounts Receivable Clerk II- EN role at Global Excel Management Inc.

As an Account Receivable Clerk II in the USA team, you’ll be responsible for providing high-quality financial, administrative, and clerical services, including the effective, efficient, and accurate management of receivables for moderately difficult to complex client accounts, as well as initiating claim-related payments to providers within a time-sensitive environment. You are expected to handle all aspects of client accounts autonomously, with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include processing and monitoring transactions related to accounts receivable, including amounts owed, account reconciliation, and collections. Providing excellent customer service to both external and internal clients is also essential.

What does your typical day look like?
  • Issue complete, accurate invoices formatted according to client needs within expected timeframes and guidelines.
  • Identify and resolve problems of an unusual nature or with high financial impact.
  • Prepare and monitor rush invoices to maintain savings.
  • Track invoice payment status and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Exercise judgment in determining whether pre-funded payments should be released, based on experience and client-specific factors.
  • Ensure the accuracy of account balances and aging reports.
  • Reconcile, register, and issue client refunds and rebates.
  • Educate and inform internal and external clients about our systems and processes.
  • Actively coach junior team members, sharing best practices, providing feedback, and helping develop decision-making skills.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
  • College Diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written. Daily use of English for follow-ups, communication with departments across various sites, and contact with clients and policyholders outside Quebec.
