Our client in York Region, ON is actively looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team.

AR Team Job Description :

1. Ensure timely processing of payments (EFT, Wire Transfer, Cheque via Lockbox, Credit Card) through an integrated business system (SAP), verifying accuracy and completeness of data records.
2. Investigate, follow up, and resolve all unapplied payments.
3. Process AR maintenance requests promptly.
4. Reconcile AR to bank clearing accounts regularly.
5. Monitor risk by ensuring compliance with internal KPMG controls.
6. Manage the AR mailbox and respond to queries in a timely manner.
7. Coordinate with internal clients regarding AR processes.
8. Qualifications include a diploma or degree in an accounting-related field.
9. Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Be a motivated self-starter with a willingness to learn and work diligently.
11. Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
12. Adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle large volumes of work.
13. Exhibit strong organizational skills, prioritize tasks, and multitask to meet deadlines.
14. Possess strong problem-solving skills.
15. Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
16. Have intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
17. Experience with SAP is considered an asset.
