Job Description

The Trade AP Technician is responsible for processing freight invoices, issuing payments and reconciling vendor accounts.

• Processing outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Ensuringpayment terms are met with valued vendors.
• Validatingand posting freight & rail invoices using the 3-way matching process.
• Verifying and investigatingdiscrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
• Contributingto process improvements where applicable.
• Communicatingand collaboratingeffectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers & co-workers; resolvingissues as they arrive.
• Maintaining complete and up-to-date records in our documentation and filing systems.
• Assisting with audit requests, ad hoc duties and projects when required

Qualifications

• Customer service centric, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quick-changing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and a strong commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
