Walter Surface Technologies is seeking an Accounts Payable Technician to handle invoice processing, vendor records, and payment runs for Canada and the United States. The role requires keen attention to detail and adherence to strong payment controls and fraud prevention policies.

You will manage three-way matching, reconcile statements, and support month-end close while maintaining accurate vendor data and providing timely reporting. Bilingual English/French communication is an asset.

Qualifikationen

• College diploma in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience with ACH, wire or electronic payments is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (and French).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with vendors and internal teams.

Aufgaben

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform three-way matching between purchase orders, invoices, and receiving reports.
• Prepare weekly cash disbursement forecasts and process ACH and wire payments.
• Follow established AP controls and fraud prevention procedures.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain vendor master data and supplier files.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding balances.
• Support month-end close, including AP accruals and reporting.
• Prepare AP aging reports and other financial reports as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and maximize system capabilities.
