Job summary

Nature's Path Foods is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to join our finance team in Richmond, BC. You will process supplier invoices, verify allocations, maintain vendor files, and support SOP documentation in a fast-paced environment.

This role is in-office Monday to Thursday in Richmond, with Fridays work-from-home, offering a 60,000–65,000 CAD salary plus a 5% bonus, three weeks vacation and comprehensive benefits. Join a collaborative team and improve AP processes.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of general accounting functions.
• Intermediate Excel and technical competency.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software (IFS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices in a fast-paced environment (~75 daily entries).
• Verify expense allocations to departments and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain vendor files and historical records with accuracy.
• Communicate and manage relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare cheque runs and manual cheques as required.
• Review employee expense reports for policy compliance.
• Assist with the corporate credit card program and AP processes.
• Document AP processes and SOPs; support training materials.
• Investigate irregularities and month-end accruals.
