Job summary

Swim Recruiting places an Accounts Payable Specialist with a 12-month contract in Vancouver. You’ll join a collaborative team and help manage AP processes while going live on new systems. Hybrid work: in-office three days per week.

The role reports to the Controller and offers a base salary in the 50k–60k CAD range plus benefits. Ideal for an AP professional early in their career with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years full cycle AP experience.
• Real estate experience is a plus.
• Yardi 7S experience is an asset.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Part of IPP AP Process (P2P).
• Assist with system development and testing (P2P).
• Follow up and tracking of invoices with the property management team.
• Manage coding and approvals for invoices outside of P2P.
• Monthly reconciliation of vendor statements, AP aging reports.
• Assist with Development and Corporate payables as needed.

This opportunity:

Reporting to the Controller, this AP Specialist will work with a collaborative team of 9 professionals. This is initially a contract role as they are implementing new systems and processes however depending on business needs as they get closer to their go live date, this could possibly be extended or made permanent depending on business needs.

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist (12-Month Contract) to join us.

What you’ll be doing:

• Part of team that looks after the IPP AP Process (P2P)
• Assist with system development and testing as required (P2P)
• Follow up and tracking of invoices with the property management team
• Manage coding and approvals for invoices processed outside of P2P
• Monthly reconciliation of vendor statements, review of AP aging reports
• Assist with Development and Corporate payables as needed

Qualifications- Required skills-

• Minimum 2 years full cycle AP, Real estate experience is an asset however candidates with the right attitude and maturity that demonstrate they can be taught with some experience will also be considered.
• Yardi 7S experience is an asset
• Highly organized and can effectively prioritize and multi-task under multiple deadlines
• Possess good analytical skills and is detail oriented
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrifice to quality of work
• Team player; takes a positive approach to responsibilities and interpersonal interactions
• Quick learner and works well independently

Where:

Vancouver- hybrid in office 3 days a week.

How Much:

Competitive base salary in the range of $50-60,000 plus benefits.
