Job description

Our client in Toronto is actively looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team.

Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Remote)

Location: Remote

Length of Assignment: 3-year contract

Hourly Rate: $23 - $25

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Month-end closing – finalizing financial activity for the month
2. Expense analysis – identify areas for cost reduction
3. Month-end preparation
4. Journal entry preparation

Skills/Qualifications/Experience/Education:

1. Post-secondary education in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience with at least 2-4 years of Accounts Payable experience
2. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
3. Experience with Concur expense management (asset)
