Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a team in the Manufacturing industry, located in Mississauga.

Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Mississauga

Industry: Manufacturing

Type: Contract

Duration: 4-month contract with potential to extend or convert to permanent

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience processing full-cycle accounts payable
  • Experience with vendor management is a strong asset
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics products (Great Plains, 365, Business Central) is required
  • Critical thinking and analytical mindset
  • Strong communication and comprehension skills
Responsibilities
  • Verify and reconcile invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and audits
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Prepare and process expense reports
