Job summary

Wessuc Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. You will ensure accurate, timely processing of vendor invoices, match them to POs, and process payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

You will handle reconciliations, maintain AP records, and support a compliant, organized finance function in a family-owned environment in Ontario.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and organization.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, or AP automation tools is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payment runs, including cheques and electronic payments.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to payment inquiries.

• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable documentation while ensuring compliance with internal policies and confidentiality standards.

About the Role
