Job summary

Sobkow Technologies Inc. in Brandon, Manitoba, seeks an experienced accounts payable professional to own the payables cycle, code and pay bills, reconcile vendor statements, and issue purchase orders.

You will work closely with store management and the General Manager, handle PST/IFTA tasks as needed, and use QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook and Word daily. Some lifting up to 20 lb is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in payables, bookkeeping or purchasing support.
• Familiar with QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Clean reconciliations and calm vendor calls.

Responsibilities

• Run accounts payable: code and pay bills, reconcile vendor statements, issue purchase orders, match receipts and quotes.
• Handle Manitoba PST self-assessments, support Saskatchewan PST clearances and file IFTA.
• Coordinate with store management and General Manager; occasional lifting up to 20 lb.
