Gravita is a rapidly growing, tech-enabled accounting firm helping SMEs and entrepreneurs achieve their goals. The Accounts Associate Manager will prepare advanced statutory financial statements, corporation tax computations, and other compliance deliverables for a mixed client portfolio under supervision.

You’ll coach junior staff, contribute to process improvements, and maintain high standards of accuracy and client service.

Qualifications

• Ideally minimum 3 years’ experience working in practice.
• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Proficient in Xero, Sage 50 Accounts, QuickBooks, Excel.
• Committed to continuing professional development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Review complex and straightforward accounts and tax returns prepared by offshore teams for various entity types in compliance with UK GAAP.
• Understand each client’s business to provide tailored service and identify value-added opportunities for review.
• Draft solutions for technical issues with guidance from Managers or Associate Directors.
• Review accounts and tax files prepared by Senior Associates, Associates, and offshore teams.
• Liaise with clients to ensure timely receipt of information and assist in client meetings.
• Support business development by engaging with LinkedIn and marketing and identifying referral opportunities.
