Job summary

Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to work with managers and partners, completing year-end files and tax returns while delivering high-quality services.

You will participate in preparing financial statements and tax returns, research accounting issues, and maintain excellent client relations in an in-person work setting in the Richmond area.

Qualifications

• CPA designation
• At least 2 years of work experience in public practice as a CPA
• Very proficient in Caseware, Caseview, Profile and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and research skills in accounting.
• Strong communication skills and time management skills.
• Effective communicator both written and verbal.
• Effective - ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
• Accountable – take responsibility of client deadlines and goals; and highly organized and Efficient.
• Knowledge of US tax is an asset.

Responsibilities
