Job summary

Germain Hotels in Canada is seeking an accounts payable specialist to join the Finance Controlling team of about 25 members. You will maintain the accounts payable for the hotels and restaurants, and collaborate with other Germain Hotels colleagues.

The role requires a college diploma in accounting, experience in a similar position, and strong French and English communication, spoken and written. We offer a flexible hybrid work model and a reduced summer schedule with health telemedicine options.

• Follow-up emails and telephone calls from suppliers and various internal customers.
• Perform various accounting tasks related to accounts payable.

Job description

Reporting to the Financial Controlling team, the incumbent will be part of the accounting team of about 25 members and will be responsible for maintaining the accounts payable of the hotels and restaurants, and work in direct association with other members of the Germain Hotels.

• Match accounting documents such as invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes and proofs of payment for suppliers.
• Enter invoices, expense accounts and payments into the accounting system.

• Perform various accounting tasks related to accounts payable.
