Job summary

IFG - International Financial Group seeks an Accounting Technician in Hamilton, Ontario for a full-time role. You will perform day-to-day processing for several small to mid-size business clients, including journal entries and reconciliations, with tax return preparation as part of duties.

Payroll processing experience is an asset, and Caseware experience is a must. The successful candidate will have 2+ years of public accounting experience and be willing to work in the office at least four days

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in public accounting with small to mid-size clients.
• Excellent communication skills and in-office presence 4 days a week.

Our client, a mid size public accounting firm, located in Hamilton, is looking for an Accounting Technician on a full time basis. This position will involve day-to-day processing for a number of the firm's small business clients with duties including, but not limited to:

• Journal entries
• Reconciliations
• Tax return preparation
• Payroll processing experience would be an asset
• Caseware experience a MUST
